This June 6th, an exciting new poly-sensorial chapter unfolds as Acqua di Parma unveils its seasonal pop-up boutique nestled in Place des Lices, Saint Tropez, bringing the Italian Arte di Vivere to the French Riviera. Designed in collaboration with French designer Dorothée Meilichzon, the space radiates a luminance of yellows in an ode to the Maison’s signature citrusy notes and the lively spirit of St. Tropez.
The facade reflects a classic European architectural style featuring glass doors with golden brush metal finish handles, inspired by the shape of the Colonia Art Deco fragrance bottle. A polysensorial journey filled with bold golden fruit forms, an aesthetic tribute to the Acqua di Parma’s signature Italian citrus fruits including a giant golden fruit structure, inviting visitors to enter and discover a dynamic showcase of the Maison’s collections.
The discovery table serves as an olfactory library of the Maison’s fragrances, while the bath and body section is an enclave dedicated to personal care. The back wall is a gallery, showcasing the brand’s visual journey, while the counter area offers personalization services, where local artists lend their craft to customize purchases. A standout piece is the citrus peel-inspired coffee table, where the form and texture of the fruit’s skin is recreated as the surface of the table’s leg.
“The idea is to fill the Place des Lices with fruits brimming with Acqua di Parma’s sun- drenched essence, whether between the furniture or beneath the shelves. The fruits grow larger and larger until they become an entirely round architecture to present the summer collection.
It is a vibrant space with a terracotta floor that recalls the pink- orange hue of St. Tropez, walls finished with lime plaster, a lacquered ceiling, and two large seats that graze a table crafted from citrus zest. Candles, perfumes, and diffusers find their place on minimalist stainless-steel furniture that stands in contrast to the golden fruits swollen with sunlight,” says Dorothée on her design inspiration.
To celebrate this ephemeral location, Acqua di Parma introduces two creations available exclusively at the pop-up, the Acqua di Parma Pétanque Set and the Car Diffuser Double Colour Limited Edition, both featuring the inscription ‘À Saint Tropez’. To accompany sunny days spent outdoors, Acqua di Parma’s new Resort Collection that includes Art de la Table tableware, Tote, and Tray as well as the Buongiorno Picnic Basket will be unveiled in a preview during the pop-up’s opening.
With this pop up and launch of the resort collection, the Maison extends its art of vibrant sophistication into lifestyle offerings.
