Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort on Abu Dhabi’s Sir Bani Yas Island opens July 1st 2013. The new luxury resort comprises 21 one-bedroom villas, seven one-bedroom pool villas and two two-bedroom pool villas overlooking either the beach or the island’s lagoon. Complementing the existing Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara on Sir Bani Yas Island, Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort has been built with sustainable design features bearing in mind the island’s delicate ecosystem.
Resort amenities and activities include a nature and wildlife drive, water sports, an archaeological site tour, the Anantara Spa, and Dining by Design, which allows guests to choose between a barbeque on the beach, by the pool, on a date farm or near the island’s wadi. Dining options at Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort include Italian all-day dining restaurant, Olio; seafood restaurant, Samak; and tapas restaurant, Amwaj.

Anantara is also scheduled to open the Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa by Fall this year. Surrounded by lush gardens, 293 beautifully appointed rooms and villas are uniquely designed with contemporary Asian flair and overlook the tranquil lagoons or Palm Jumeirah. The Resort features 293 rooms and villas are clustered in units of four to eight to maximise privacy, with 126 of these featuring direct access to 10,000 square metres of lagoon pools.
