Anya Hindmarch Mini-Mart will open for three months on London’s Mount Street in Mayfair. A playful nod to the AW14 runway show, the Anya Hindmarch Mini-Mart features uniquely sourced fittings and is the first store to showcase all of the runway collection. The Mini Mart will be serving 99 ice creams at 99 Mount Street throughout the summer.
The new collection was inspired by the designer’s love of taking everyday objects and giving them a luxurious make over combining both craftsmanship and humour. Imperial clutches with printed snakeskin inlays mimic iconic cereal boxes whilst Georgiana clutches are emblazoned with vivid Daz or Ariel ‘pop’ graphics.
The Featherweight Ebury features iconic graphics usually seen on Frosties or Cornflakes boxes all created using the alta frequenza craft technique. Packets of biscuits are reworked in snakeskin to act as delicate clutches or bag accessories. The now iconic crisp packet clutch is available in new colours and Bourbon and Custard Cream biscuits are new additions to this selection of hand finished brass clutches.
