According to Swiss newspaper Handelszeitung, Apple has been actively seeking to recruit Swiss luxury watch professionals, ahead of its anticipated launch of the iWatch. LVMH‘s Head of Watches Division Jean Claude Biver is quoted “Apple got in contact with several Swiss manufacturers. Apple tries to place orders with the Swiss watch supplier industry. One I know personally”; “Apple has contacted some of my employees, I saw these emails personally. But none of my employees has left Hublot”.
