British fashion students will first of all have to work at their creative best, fashioning out their own interpretation of three Emporio Armani looks. Giorgio Armani himself will then assess the designs and select three winners, while the winning creations will be produced and go on sale at the Emporio Armani stores in London, Manchester and Glasgow, and on Armani.com from September.
The competition is called ‘New Bond’, and it is the result of a collaboration between Giorgio Armani, the British Fashion Council (BFC) and the UK’s leading fashion design schools. It was organised to fête the first Emporio Armani catwalk show in London, and the opening of the label’s latest London store on Bond Street, during the London Fashion Week.
