Baccarat has recently opened a new flagship store in Paris on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The new store was designed by Gilles & Boissier, and its interiors feature steel, polished brass, marble, leather and velvet. The first floor, labelled ‘Baccarat by Appointment only’, is reserved for special orders, and for architects and interior decorators.
Earlier this month, Baccarat opened the first Maison Baccarat in Asia, in Seoul, South Korea. The venue, looking like a traditional Korean house, offers a selection of Baccarat crystal pieces and Asia’s largest collection of Baccarat chandeliers. It also features a bar, for drinking tea and coffee during the day and cocktails in the evening.
Baccarat also opened its first store in Saudi Arabia, inside the new ‘Boulevard’ shopping mall, located on King Abdul Aziz Road, in the heart of Jeddah.
In 2016 Baccarat will open its first Chinese flagship store in Beijing, inside the ‘Central Mall’ overlooking Shin Kong Place. The façade is inspired by the look created for New York’s Hotel Baccarat, and the two-floor store will also feature a bar.
