Swiss luxury brand Bally has opened its largest global store in Tokyo.The new store which covers a space of 845 square meters on two floors is located within the Tokyu Plaza in Ginza. The new store was designed by architect David Chipperfield, now in its third opening for the brand after recent ones in London and Los Angeles.
The new Tokyo flagship store features men’s and women’s accessories as well as a dedicated space to made to order. The second floor will be divided between a VIP room for private shopping experiences and a space dedicated to events.
For the occasion and for the first time in Bally’s history, a part of its archive from Switzerland will travel to Tokyo as part of an exhibition entitled”Untold Bally – Part 1: 1851-1951″, showcasing 100 years of the brand’s history. (until May 8).
The new Tokyo store opening is part of a series of 15 openings planned for 2016 which also includes the new flagship store in Beijing, coming later this year.
