Opened 3 years ago, the Bodrum EDITION flawlessly embodies the DNA of the EDITION brand which is part of Marriott International, with an impeccable product and consistently high service standard, among the highest among other international luxury hotel brands which have a presence in Bodrum.
From lavish accommodations (from deluxe rooms to several bedroom villas with private pool) crafted by Ian Schrager, and like other EDITIONS, the Bodrum EDITION boasts extremely cozy and comfortable interior design, with finest custom made furnishings and designed elements. Although housekeeping work more, the results are evident – pandemic safety and hygiene measures are firmly and consistently being implemented.
Close attention has been played to all luxury essentials – soundproofing, high-speed wifi, lighting, room controls, high-water pressure in the shower, luxurious bathroom amenities by Le Labo, superb thick satin cotton towels, free-standing bathtub and a large walk in shower – not to mention the extremely comfortable bedding – not just the mattress but also the finest high thread linen. AC can adapt in seconds from warm to cold and vice-versa and most importantly it is silent.
Bodrum EDITION has one of the most beautiful natural sand beach with crystal clear waters – but guests can also enjoy the large outdoor heated pool and decks on several levels. There is also a ”peninsula’ of cabanas which can be rented for the day. With such a variety and with a high trained team, all guest typologies can find their preference – whether it is couples, families or even single guests. Service at the beach and pool is impeccable – always extremely caring and attending, not to mention predictive and personalised.
Morena at The Bodrum EDITION’s beachside restaurant enjoys an innovative collaboration with Istanbul’s acclaimed Inari Omakase, the restaurant transforms its menu from relaxed all-day dining into an elegant, Japanese-inspired dinner menu that celebrates the freshness and diversity of Turkish produce. I was particularly impressed with the service, superb quality of the food and the views, which are magnetic at sunset.
Spa offers an array of healing treatments and beauty services in a warm yet sleek environment, abundant in limestone and wood. There are 8 treatments rooms, a Turkish Hammam, sauna, salon, and Vitality Lounge. The epicenter of the Spa is the Turkish Hammam, which encapsulates both tradition and minimalism. Schedule a therapy bath, manicure, foot bath, or hair and scalp treatment. A variety of massage sessions are offered in the treatment rooms and private suites, as well as in the outdoor cabanas which enjoy views of the Aegean Sea
Nevertheless, what makes Bodrum EDITION garner such incredible consistency in its customer service is its team – its family. And probably what is more important that they all have a genuine smile and you feel genuinely pampered and taken care – all in an effortless way !
A big thank you for your hospitality, Marc Matar and your entire team !
