Starwood Hotels, brand owner for St Regis, Le Meridien, W Hotels and Sheraton announces the Group’s first hotel opening on the 1st of March in Prague. Sheraton Charles Square is the 12th five-star hotel in the Czech capital, renowned for the quality of its hospitality services. This year, Four Seasons Prague won 1st place in top Golden List of the famous magazine Conde Nast Traveller. This is another example for Romania and the new minister of tourism on how to build a coherent strategy.
This year in Prague, Kempinsky has launched one of the chain’s most luxurious hotels. Also, network Mandarin Oriental owns in Prague its only hotel in Central and Eastern Europe.
Support from local authorities includes cutting taxes, helping with local beaurocracy concerning the buying and owning of properties, impeccable infrastructure and coherent travel packages. Many will say that Prague does not compare to Bucharest, but we dare to disagree. Should we quantify the tourist objectives, their variety (lakes, parks, historical places, and so on) then Bucharest would be above Prague.
Unfortunately we all know what is missing!
