The new Bulgari Hotel Paris, initially scheduled for 2020, has confirmed to CPP-LUXURY.COM, it would postpone its opening for 2021 without a precise date. Following the opening of Beijing and Dubai in 2017 and Shanghai in 2018, with Paris in 2021 the Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts collection will grow to seven properties, including Milan, London and Bali.
The Bulgari Hotel Paris will be prominently located at 30 Avenue George V, almost across the street from Four Seasons George V Paris. This Avenue forms with the Champs Elysees and the Avenue Montaigne the famous “Triangle d’Or”, one of Paris’ most exclusive and distinctive areas offering a wealth of luxury shopping, entertainment and cultural attractions.
Bulgari Hotel Paris will offer 76 rooms, most of them suites, and a full range of luxury facilities including a spa with a spectacular indoor heated 25 meters pool and a Bvlgari Restaurant and Bar opening to a charming courtyard garden. The Bvlgari Hotel Paris is being designed by the Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and the renowned Parisian architects Valode & Pistre.
LVMH‘s Cheval Blanc Paris which is housed within the former Samaritaine Department Store which is being superbly transformed into a multi-use complex, has postponed its opening for 2021, the cause being the uncertain evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The fifth Cheval Blanc Hotel will feature 72 rooms and suites of which 26 rooms have been designed by Peter Marino as a vibrant tribute to Art Déco. Lights, colours and materials play on traditional Parisian codes to embrace a new contemporary energy.
The Dior Spa at Cheval Blanc Hotel was designed by Peter Marino, just like a private apartment, with six suites for exceptional bespoke treatments, and formulas from the Dior scientific expertise. Maxime Frédéric was recently appointed Pastry Chef. With Chef Arnaud Donckele, the two artists play in harmony, composing creations sublimated by poems that blend perfectly. Passionate about food presentation and deeply attached to their roots, their sincerity reflects through seasonal compositions blooming in a gourmet symphony.
Grandson of a dairy farmer, Maxime Frédéric deploys high flying delicacies from breakfast to dinner, as well as goûter, always in the spirit of his Norman heritage. Continually enhancing new gourmet and aerial sensations, his plates exquisitely orchestrate a perfect balance of emotions.
Part of the main structure is given over to luxury public apartments, while a second smaller block to the north is composed of a brand-spanking-new tech building of undulating glass on rue du Rivoli, along with a half-dozen slim 17th century buildings made with traditional brick, clay and wooden floor beams for the public apartments. One pre-requisite for winning the approval of the then-Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoé was the creation of public housing, located on the western side on rue de l’Arbre-Sec.
