Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans for Bvlgari Resort Bodrum at Cennet Bay, to open in 2026. The hotel which is owned and developed by Cengiz Holding Group, will be operated by Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, a joint venture between Marriott International and Bvlgari. Cengiz Holding acquired the land in 2012 through a privatisation.
The new luxury resort in Bodrum will be the 12th property of the chain. Once home to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, today Bodrum is known as one of the Mediterranean’s most coveted lifestyle destinations. The Resort will be set on the tip of its own private peninsula and occupy ten hectares of terraced gardens.
Like all Bvlgari Hotels, the Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will design the property, creating a dialogue between architecture and landscape and building a bridge between the ancient civilization that once occupied the region, and modern contemporary design language. Landscape architects Randle Siddeley have also been enlisted for the project.
The destination will be planned with a keen on sustainability and part of the project involves bringing new vegetation to the region. 100 Mansions (private residences) and 84 Rooms and Suites will offer a range of accommodation, and the Resort will be home to Bvlgari’s signature dining, wellness, and entertainment experiences.
