French luxury jeweller CARTIER is opening this August a new flagship store in Miami, Florida within the Design District. Cartier will be one of the first new luxury retail tenants to open in the Miami Design District (151 NE 40th Street).
Cartier closed its mono-brand boutique last year in Bal Harbour and currently its only boutique in Miami-Dade has been at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Dadeland Mall.
The new Cartier store will cover 4,331-square-feet and will feature a complete range of Cartier products – watches, accessories and fragrances. The design includes luxurious and contemporary elements with glass display cases trimmed in bronze and oak wood floors. The boutique will also feature four private viewing rooms.
“We look forward to welcoming clients to the new boutique and continuing our strong presence in Miami that we’ve had for more than 30 years,” said Emmanuel Perrin, president and chief executive of Cartier North America.
The arrival of luxury retailers like Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Hermes is part of a major redevelopment of the Design District lead by developer Craig Robins and his company DACRA.
