After nine months of extensive renovation works, French luxury maison Cartier is re-opening October 6, its Milan flagship store on Montenapoleone, emphasizing the importance of Italy for the maison. With the architecture signed by Bruno Moinard, the newly re-opened Cartier store has doubled in space, now covering 4 floors. The Cartier flagship store in Milan has been established for over 30 years, being considered by the company as one of the major flagship stores worldwide.
Cartier has focused on the atmosphere of the store to make it as welcoming as possible with carpets and upholstery in neutral colors and a row of private rooms for personalized interaction with customers. The ground floor houses fine jewelry, the first floor features engagement rings on one side and haute horlogerie on the other; the second floor is dedicated to accessories displayed in open space. Finally, the top floor has been converted into a library lounge with a small private terrace for the VIP clients of the maison.
Several major luxury stores on Via Montenapoleone, Milan’s luxury shopping destination, have been undergoing massive refurbishments, most of them enlarged and reflecting the latest interior design concepts (Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Ferragamo, Dior).
