CARTIER has recently opened its newly renovated boutique in Berlin, a space that eloquently bridges heritage and contemporary luxury. Located at the historic Kurfürstendamm 187, the 282 square meter boutique represents a masterful collaboration between the renowned designer Bruno Moinard and local Berlin artisans.
The boutique’s interior is a narrative of craftsmanship, featuring a striking mosaic staircase created by Berlin artist Svenja Teichert. Moinard’s design philosophy orchestrates a delicate balance between traditional elegance and modern innovation, utilizing a curated palette of materials that range from Elite Stone flooring to textured wall coverings in hues inspired by Mother of Pearl and the deep blue of Schloss Charlottenburg.
Unique artistic elements define the space, including a straw marquetry panel by Studio François Mascarello that reinterprets the iconic Cartier panther motif through an abstract representation of Berlin’s landmark Brandenburg Gate and the Fernsehturm. Handcrafted pieces by Jérémy Bellina and porcelain from the historic Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin further enrich the boutique’s character.
