French luxury jeweller CARTIER, owned by Richemont Group, has chosen London to launch its Tank Anglaise watch next month. With prices starting at 5.500 euros, it is the first time Cartier has launched a product in London.
The group is this weekend for the first time releasing a commercial globally that will be screened in 150 London cinemas in London and can be seen on ITV and Channel 5.
The three-and-a-half-minute ad, featuring the Cartier panther, depicts Cartier’s 165-year history. The music was recorded in Abbey Road studios.
Cartier also plans an exhibition in the Selfridges department store in April and will host an event at the Chelsea Flower Show in May. Cartier’s ties with London date back over 100 years, when it opened its first store in 1902 and then received a royal warrant in 1905.
