CHANEL has set up shop once again in a villa in the Avenue di General Leclerc to showcase its ready-to-wear and accessories collections.
This year the villa, La Mistralée, has had a makeover, but it still comes complete with its magnificent poolside setting and this time the look is very 1970s. Poolside, for example, is all red brick and pink mortar and mid-century pool furniture.
Inside the house itself, the look is subdued with the unpolished stone floors offset by the super crisp white walls. The light and bright summer feel is taken through the visual merchandising with surfboard-bearing mannequins gracing the space.
The glass-ceilinged verrièe room is where the fixturing comes into its own, as a maze of black steel liner rails is used to suspend the collection from the ceiling.
