From schools to bars, restaurants and clubs, Condé Nast International, the publisher of Vogue and GQ’s international editions is expanding its non publishing business worldwide. From the Vogue Cafés (first opened in 2004) and more recently the Tatler Cafe, Moscow will see the opening of a GQ Bar by the end of this year, all businesses under licensing agreement with a local retaurateur.
GQ Bar opened in February in Istanbul and further GQ Bars will open this year in Singapore, Dubai and Bangkok. Similar ventures are planned in Latin America, however, there are no plans to expand in the US or Europe.
