Christian Dior has recently opened a new flagship store in Toronto on Bloor Street at the Colonnade shopping gallery. The one glass facade store is a continuation of the new retail strategic approach of the house to combine both women’s and men’s collections. While the ground-floor which stuns with its floor to ceiling glass windows features accessories, including handbags and shoes.
The first floor includes ready-to-wear, as well as a designated space for men’s collections. British artist Ian Davenport has been commissioned for several pieces and installations including the spectacular staircase.
The Toronto store comes after the new opening in New York at Hudson Yards which also houses both women’s and men’s collections, includind ready-to-wear and accessories. Both stores are operated directly by DIOR.
