Steps from the Art People Gallery, the new Dior store in San Francisco stands apart from the area’s other buildings thanks to its Parisian allure. The façade’s architecture and its color bring a slice of the French capital to the Californian sunshine. A look inside reveals the same tonal harmony of Trianon grays and whites.
Spread across two floors, the latest Dior collections are surrounded by works of art. The space devoted to leather-goods is located a few steps from an Oyoram animation, near an alcove reserved for jewelry and timepieces where a circular mirror by Laurent Chauvat can be found. Further on, mineral aspect consoles by Stefan Leo are placed in a room given over to ready-to-wear as a part of the shoe collection is reflected in a mirror speckled with silver called Dots, a creation of Rob Wynne.
