Upscale restaurant and gourmet shop chain Eataly is opening this week two locations in Milan, one in Piazza XXV Aprile (Eataly Smeraldo) and the second at The Brian&Barry department store in piazza San Babila. The first location will cover an impressive 5,500 sqm on three floors and will include a gourmet store, bistro, cafe and restaurant. The new Eataly locations have been conceived by architects Carlo Piglione and Thomas Bartoli. The new stores feature Maioli pasta, gelateria Lait, cafè Lavazza, Venchi chocolaterie including a fountain, flour by Mulino Marino and panini by Ino. The second Eataly location will cover an ample space over two floors.
Eataly currently operates 11 locations and 6 abroad, in the U.S. (New York, Chicago), Dubai, Tokyo, Istanbul.
