PUCCI has launched “Sneakers of the World,” a collection of 11 pairs of luxury sneakers themed on major world cities. These limited-edition models will be sold in the brand’s stores in the cities featured in the collection, as well as online at www.emiliopucci.com.
Slip-ons and sneakers are the stars of the spring — a trend that shows no sign of waning as the summer season arrives. Many fashion houses have released limited-edition series or are teaming up with specialist brands to launch exclusive models, like the Vans and Marc Jacobs collab.
Emilio Pucci is the latest fashion house to drop a collection of luxury sneakers with 11 pairs of “City Up” shoes celebrating 11 different cities around the world. Each model uses a different color combination, selected specifically for its location. The name of each city is also embroidered on the back of the shoes.
The sneakers, which are made in Italy, feature thick colored elastic bands and a ruffle around the heel. The outer sole is made from rubber and is finished in white on all models.
Emilio Pucci has picked sleek shades for Milan, tropical colors for Miami and bright hues for Seoul. The remaining models are themed on Florence, Rome, Paris, London, Dubai, Moscow, Hong Kong and New York.
The sneakers are available in selected Emilio Pucci stores or online, priced €440.
