“We are proud and excited to introduce Mondrian London at Sea Containers to the world today,” says Jason Kalisman, interim CEO of Morgans Hotel Group. “The combination of incredible design, amazing partners, and a one-of-a-kind building make this hotel a perfect match for what Morgans does best, and I believe the resulting product will be embraced by the local and international community.”
With interiors completed by London-based Design Research Studio under the creative direction of Tom Dixon, Mondrian London embraces the building’s heritage and is inspired by the golden age of transatlantic travel. The hotel has several unique features, including a handcrafted copper hull sweeping from the entrance through the lobby.
In addition to the 359 guestrooms and suites, the Mondrian London also features a 200-seat restaurant Sea Containers, and a soon-to-be-announced rooftop bar. In addition to the F&B offerings, the hotel features 5,500 square feet of event space, including a 56-seat screening room.
