Italian couturier Giambattista Valli launches a new ready-to-wear label called Giamba in September during Milan Fashion Week. “France has given me a lot, but I felt the need to do something important in my country,” said the designer, who recalled how the name of the new collection is a tribute to his nickname.
To manage the production and development of collections Valli founded the GBO, a company created with the help of Italian entrepreneur Mario Bandiera for the global development of the collections of the house. The company in will be supported by Bandiera’s BVM which also owns Les Copains.
