Giorgio Armani Corporation (the U.S. branch of the group) has named Gaetano Sciuto as CEO effective Jan. 7. The position is based in New York. Joanna M. Dubin succeeded him as president of Fendi Americas, a position he held since September of 2013.
Sciuto started his career in 1994 and in his most recent position at Fendi Americas, he was responsible for the worldwide management of the Fendi licenses and accessories division which includes licensed businesses (eyewear, home, junior RTW and perfumes), joint ventures ( textile and watches) and new business development, reporting directly to Fendi CEO/President.
He has also General Manager of Fendi Silk (51% owned by IS&T/Fendi) which design, manufacture and distribute globally all men’s and women’s textiles accessories (scarves, ties, mufflers, etc) , men’s and women’s beachwear and woman’s active wear (skiwear, free time and fitness).
