Hilton plans to expand Dino Michael’s current role as global brand head of the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand to include the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand effective Jan. 1, 2020. Michael brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to his new position, including more than 10 with Hilton.
Michael took on the position of global brand head for Waldorf Astoria in June 2018. While in that role, he has overseen the opening of properties such as the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal (Mexico), the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead and the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.
Previously, Michael led global brand development as VP for Hilton’s luxury portfolio. Before that, he spearheaded global food-and-beverage operations, where he oversaw the development of Hilton’s full-service and luxury brands’ restaurants and bars.

Hilton’s Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand has nearly 40 properties across five continents. Its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand has 30 locations. Overall, Hilton’s 17 brands comprise nearly 6,000 properties with more than 954,000 rooms.
