German premium brand Hugo Boss which opened this Spring in Paris its latest flagship store concept, on the famous Champs Elysee, will expand the new store concept for other major cities internationally, with Shanghai (700 sqm) and Sydney, both openings planned for 2012. Other flagship store openings reflecting the new concept will follow in Stuttgart, New York and London, some of which will be enlargements of existing spaces.
Online sales which currently account for 3% of total sales are expected to grow to 5% of total revenue by 2015. In 2013, Hugo Boss plans to feature a Chinese version of its e-commerce, while a Russian version is planned for 2014.
Retail has reached almost half of Hugo Boss’ turnover in 2011, however, agreements with key wholesale clients are of priority for the future.
