Dorchester Collection‘s Le Meurice hosted its 7th Meurice Prize for contemporary art which was awarded to Mark Geffriaud, represented by the gallery gb agency.True to its heritage and its enthusiasm for the art of its times, and for the seventh consecutive year, the first Parisian palace hotel (1835) has awarded a prize to help an emerging artist on the French scene to gain international exposure. The prize, which has an endowment of €20,000, was jointly awarded on October 9th to Mark Geffriaud for his project “Sketches” and to the gallery gb agency.
For this special 7th anniversary, Le Meurice created an outstanding and spectacular setting on the theme of the new technologies, whilst the guests could enjoy some geometrical and colourful pieces of cocktail. The Bedroom Exhibition is on display and open to the public until October, 26
