The new Loewe store in Madrid, designated ‘Casa Loewe’, features the new retail design concept introduced by the brand’s creative director Jonathan Anderson. Spread over a surface of 930 sqm across three floors, the store is located within in an historic 19th century building which is also home to the label’s headquarters.
The brand’s men’s and women’s and accessories collections will be showcased in the flagship boutique alongside specialised departments such as a made-to-measure and exotic skin items.
According to the heritage brand, the space features careful natural lighting and unique pieces to create a modern environment. Art works and artisanal creations are also on display, including pieces by Edmund de Waal, Richard Smith, Gloria García Lorca and Sir Howard Hodgkin.
Additionally, the space showcases the brand’s new photography book, ‘Past, Present, Future’, but perhaps the most unexpected feature is a flower shop.
Loewe is also launching an exhibition at Madrid’s Botanical Gardens to celebrate the evolution of the brand since Jonathan Anderson took over in 2014.
The new ‘Casa Loewe’ in Madrid is located at the corner of Goya and Serrano streets in the capital’s Salamanca district.
