After moving out of Bal Harbour Shops at the beginning of last year, then moving to a temporary location and a new mono-brand store in the Design District, Louis Vuitton opened this week its flagship store, one of its global Maisons, in Miami at Aventura Mall. The new Vuitton store in Miami, among the largest in America, features exclusives which are not available at regular stores such as: “Made to Order” for men’s shoes (the only U.S. store to offer this service), a bag bar, Louis Vuitton Cup collections, bespoke services, exclusive collections, a private entrance, a garden terrace for special luncheons and events as well as private shopping rooms for VIP customers.
Designed by Peter Marino, the new Louis Vuitton Maison in Miami combines both art and luxury, with a façade adorned with iconic Louis Vuitton flowers, a grand staircase with handrails wrapped in Louis Vuitton’s nomad leather and artworks by Cuban-born artist Jorge Pardo and others. Customization is available for ladies too, in the The Haute Maroquinerie room, where women can choose among five iconic shapes, 26 colors and eight skins.
