French luxury brand LOUIS VUITTON is opening in Spring 2011 its first store in Poland, in the capital city of Warsaw. The store will be located within a department store which is currently under construction in the downtown area of Warsaw.
The arrival of Louis Vuitton in Poland might seem as late in a mature market which is actually the largest in the Eastern European region and its economy has been least affected by the financial crisis in comparison with all the other countries in the region. Louis Vuitton, like many other luxury brands, has rightfully taken a cautionary strategy in regards to the Polish market due to the fact that it is a very specific and challenging luxury market.
