As part of its newly adapted strategy aiming for an improved luxury positioning, Louis Vuitton’s Spring Summer 2014 collection includes several handbag pieces of over US$40,000, including the priciest project the black Crocodile leather Capucines bag at US$48,000.
The Capucines line is inspired by rue Neuve-des-Capucines where Louis Vuitton set up shop in 1854. The timeless design is confirmed through the rare precious Crocodile skin, and refined details such as a semi-rigid handle for hand, elbow or shoulder secured by beautiful jewel-like rings. Interior details include supple goatskin leather lining, a zippered pocket and a flat pocket for smartphones, mini tablets etc.
