The international financial crisis of the past two years has driven production for more and more international luxury brands abroad, most of it to Asia and a constant volume in several Eastern European countries. Although slightly more expensive in costs, production in Eastern Europe provides higher quality of manufacturing as well as, in some cases, handy access to textiles and other raw materials also produced locally.
CPP has comprised a list of international luxury brands which have been constantly manufacturing select lines and products in Eastern European countries:
TURKEY: Hugo Boss, Miu Miu, Emporio Armani, D&G, Burberry, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Z Zegna, Cacharel, Guy Laroche, Cerutti,
ROMANIA: Red Valentino, Hugo Boss, Thomas Pink, Vilebrequin, Louis Vuitton (only parts, not finished product), Emporio Armani, Zegna Sport, Burberry, Vicri, Paul Smith, Pierre Cardin, Cerutti.
BULGARIA: Ittierre (Just Cavalli), Guy Laroche, Vilebrequin, Cacharel
