Luxury watches retailer Bucherer opens largest store in the U.K.

Swiss based luxury watches retailer Bucherer has opened a new store in the Westfield shopping centre in White City. The store is now the largest in Bucherer’s UK portfolio.

The store was previously a smaller outlet for The Watch Gallery, the British watch specialist which was acquired by Bucherer from DM London last year.

With two times the size of the previous store, the new multi-brand space features a dedicated Rolex boutique and dedicated rooms for Cartier and Omega. Bucherer’s fine jewellery is also showcased in the 2,800-square-foot space.

“We are thrilled to be doubling the size of our store at Westfield London. This will enable us to offer a far wider choice to our customers of all the major Swiss watch brands as well as, for the first time in the UK, our range of Bucherer Fine jewellery,” said David Coleridge, chairman of Bucherer UK.

The brand’s largest UK boutique is located in Westfield Centre’s luxury area The Village, where high-end brands like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co and Gucci have also stores.

It joins the scheme in a year of milestones for Westfield, with the shopping centre preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary this October.
