The US$ 154.8 million JK Iguatemimall is the Iguatemi Group’s thirteenth mall in Brazil and third in São Paulo, bringing a wealth of novelties. The JK Iguatemi Mall opened at the end of last month, housing flagship stores of major international luxury brands such as Prada, Burberry, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci. The space is large and bright and minimalist, divided into large cubes, with an enhanced sense of scale and proximity of the street.
One the major assets of JK Iguatemi Mall compared with other malls in Brazil, is the size of the stores. All major luxury stores are grand. Chanel, Prada and Burberry, for example all cover 700m ², featuring full range of their products. Brands such as Bottega Veneta opened their first full scale flagship store at JK Iguatemi, for the first time with a full range of its ready to wear collections for men and women.
Among the most anticipated new store openings at JK Iguatemi Sao Paolo are Lanvin, Miu Miu and Goyard, a more niche brand with select international locations. The Goyard store in Sao Paolo will be the second in the world after Paris with a personalization service. Dolce Gabbana opened at JK Iguatemi its first full scale flagship store in Brazil. With a surface of 818 sqm, the Dolce Gabbana store at JK Iguatemi features the full product range of Dolce Gabbana, from ready to wear, accessories, to fine jewellery and watches. Gucci will hold its official inauguration of its flagship at JK Iguatemi in Sao Paolo with a lavish event attended by actor James Franco.
Another impressive feature of JK Iguatemi Mall is its huge roof terrace, with furniture design in black and orange, withwonderful views of St. Paul – on one hand the People’s Park, on the other, mirrored buildings and Marginal Pinheiros.
