Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has revealed final phase of a $100 million resort-wide renovation. Headed by MGM Resorts International Design Group, the redesign will upgrade more than 3,000 of the property’s guestrooms and suites with bright colors, bold decorative elements, and modern furnishings.
The resort king rooms will feature a cobalt and white color palette, while queen rooms will come in two varieties of either warm ruby and latte or lavender and mocha. Framing each bed, an onyx-inspired wall will be the focal point. All rooms will include new work areas with updated task lighting, modern seating, and furniture-integrated outlets. One- and two-bedroom suites will be available and include jewel tone fabrics accented by natural wood and stone. The resort will also offer newly decorated one- to four-bedroom suites in its Luxury collection.
The final phase of development is slated for completion in the spring of 2016.
