Nestled over 20 hectares of landscaped gardens and olive groves, Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech is located within minutes from the city centre. The hotel features 54 villas and 7 suites, a world-class spa and 4 innovative restaurants and bars.
The design of Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech was undertaken by French Studio Gilles & Boissier. With its Berber and Arab-Andalusian influences, the feel is of relaxed luxury for the cosmopolitan traveller.
The main restaurant of the hotel, headed by Chef Issam Rhachi, a specialist in Moroccan cuisine, “Mes’Lalla” is named after the fresh green olives, picked mainly around the city of Meknès in Morocco.
The lush gardens of the hotel boast no less than 100 000 roses, an entire feast to the eye. The Spa covers 1800 sqm with extensive heat and water facilities, which include two large hammams for men and women, with all treatment rooms benefiting from an outdoor space. There is also an indoor heated pool, a Thai treatment room and an indoor heated swimming pool.
The hotel is headed by General Manager Mark Bradford, a highly experienced hotelier with a tenure of 14 years in various management positions at other Mandarin Oriental properties.
