Manolo Blahnik has recently opened a new store in Tokyo at the new Ginza Six luxury complex. The new store which covers 60 sqm was designed by Nick Leith-Smith. The focal point of the store is a timber installation, inspired by Japanese timber construction and joinery but realised here in crisscrossed folded wooden slats. The wooden slats connect the walls and traverse across the ceiling and can be used as hangers and shelves.
