Luxury hospitality industry veteran Marc Dardenne has recently announced the launch in Singapore of a new luxury hotel hotel brand, Patina Hotels & Resorts, owned by the Kwee family . The new Patina Hotel Singapore which opens in the last quarter of 2014 is part of a mixed-use development and counts 157 keys.
The Patina Capitol Hotel Singapore is housed in the iconic Capitol Building and Stamford House, which will be masterfully restored by Pritzker Prize Architecture Laureate Richard Meier. Its interiors are finished by world-renowned interior design company, Jaya International Design. The hotel forms an integral component of Capitol Singapore, Singapore’s first integrated luxury lifestyle development.
Some of the innovative luxury lifestyle positioning features include: a new service concept called the 360 degree concierge, where every employee is a concierge and 24-hour state program with no front desk.
Dardenne also confirmed future Patina Hotels developments in Bangkok (80 keys), Phuket, Maldives, Bali and Jakarta. While China remains a priority the company will focus to establish its reputation in South East Asia for the first stages.
