After having launched the first K11 ‘Art Mall’ concept store in the Tsim Sha Tsui district of Hong Kong, NWD (New World Development) has launched its first K11 store in Shanghai. Situated on Huaihai road in Shanghai, K11 follows the same concept, featuring not only retail and dining but also spaces dedicated to art, engaging visitors to participate. Dolce&Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss and Max Mara are among the international brands which have opened stores at K11 Shanghai.
The NWD Group is run by Adrian Cheng, the heir of one of China’s richest families. His ambition is to develop K11 stores in other major cities in China, specifically Shenyang, Wuhan, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Haikou and Ningbo.
