About the Palace distinction
The French Tourism Development Agency, Atout France, created the Palace distinction in November 2010 to distinguish the exceptional 5-star hotels in France and its territories. It is awarded to hotels that possess an iconic location, a compelling history, a unique aesthetic and tailored services. The distinction is valid for a period of 5 years, and can be renewed.
