Pharrell Williams is opening in Miami his very first hotel The Goodtime early 2021. Pharrell teamed up with hospitality entrepreneur David Grutman and developer Eric Birnbaum for the new establishment. “Being in there is like being in a Wes Anderson film,” mentioned Pharrell in a recent interview.
Positioned on Washington Avenue in Miami’s South Beach, the building was under construction for the last three years, with architect Morris Adjmi taking on the designs. It features seven stories, 266 rooms, a workout area, a pool deck, a recording studio and 45,000 square feet of retail space.
“It’s good vibes, good energy, good karma, good food, good music, good environment, good vibration,” notes Pharrell. “Come there one way, and then you leave vibrating. We call it spiritual Wi-Fi.”
The Goodtime Hotel will be opening its doors sometime in early 2021
