In the historic palace on Via Manin, rich in history (and tradition), which was the headquarters of Krizia, Philipp Plein follows the mantra “whatever, whenever” and designs a destination for the most demanding guests that combines unparalleled comfort, privacy, luxury and design under the watchful eye of a staff trained in the most exclusive hotels in the world.
The materials chosen are all extremely precious (marble, glass, mirrors, crystal, wallpaper), each suite is unique, equipped with a private sauna and gym, and the common areas are rich in art, design and references to the brand’s identity codes, with hexagons, monograms or even the characteristic skull dear to the brand, used as decorative elements.
The Plein Hotel, Philipp Plein‘s new Milanese temple of hospitality (3,000 square meters and an investment of 40 million euros) opened its doors for the first time to an audience of insiders on the occasion of the spring-summer 2025 fashion show, after three years of intense work.
In the new Plein Hotel, which will be fully open to the public by November, four concepts coexist, but are absolutely independent. Plein describes them as real brands aimed at offering precise experiences in terms of “food, drink, nightlife”, all designed according to a model of exclusivity, originality and extreme attention to every detail.
At the beginning of the adventure, the German entrepreneur had started with the idea of opening a nightclub, but once he found the location, size and structure of the building, he “called” for an expansion of the initial project that has become an urban resort with four different “experiences”, which will be completed by a Beauty Clinic.
The Italian restaurant could not be missed: it is called Philipp’s and it is here that the starred chef Roberto Conti reinvents and sublimates the natural ingredients, ancient recipes and traditional taste of the best Italian cuisine in an innovative mix of flavors (like the champagne pizza). The restaurant is transformed into a nightclub, with lighting effects and cutting-edge music. A small exclusive private area surrounds the DJ booth.
The best-kept secret of the Plein Hotel is its rooftop, which houses the Crystal Beach, according to the beach club concept. The atmosphere is classic and opulent, with white stones and columns, a large swimming pool, sumptuous plants and trees that create shade and an unexpected garden with a grill restaurant with Asian influences, including Korean barbecue, and a snack bar. Here too, as in all the restaurants, the music harmonizes perfectly with the spirit of the place.
Sukaru Bā (the name means skull bar in Japanese) is focusing on Japanese cuisine. The décor combines traditional Japanese fabrics, golden skulls and dark stones, sushi is served on samurai swords and wrapped in gold, Tamagotchi cocktails are prepared by top mixologists and a lush palm garden has been created outside.
The hotel which also features 16 rooms and suites is operated by Glamore Group
