Together with its strategic US partner, Giampiero di Persia, Italian luxury furniture and interior design firm Poltrona Frau Group opened in Miami, this week, its largest ever showroom, on two floors, covering over 2.500 sqm. The showroom features indoor and outdoor furniture and interior design pieces of Cassina, Cappellini and Poltrona Frau – all brands of the Poltrona Frau Group, together with a bookstore with catalogues on architecture and interior design. The Miami store opening comes after recent multi-brand opening of the Poltrona Frau in Chicago and Houston.
Poltrona Frau Group plans two other multi-brand store in the U.S. early 2012 and one in Canada. The group has also secured major other projects for 2012 and 2013 of over 5 million euros, for the renovation of 800 hotel rooms in Hudson, New York, and a project by Renzo Piano at The Harvard Art Museum in Cambridge, where Poltrona Frau Group will design a 300 seat auditorium and a lecture hall. Among the confirmed projects is also a project with Foster + Partners for an auditorium at Yale School of Management Campus in New Haven.
