A tribute to Made in Italy, craftsmanship, heritage and tradition, luxury furniture maker Poltrona Frau inaugurated its museum in Northen Italy in the city of Tolentino, following an investment of over 8 million euros. Conceived and curated by Michele de Luchi, the Poltrona Frau Museum documents the first 100 years of the history of the iconic brand. The inaugural event was attended by VIP clients, partners and media from around the world. The town of Tolentino is home to Italy’s handcrafted leather furniture, generating production of over 260 million euros, annually.
The Poltrona Frau Museum reveals the inner workings of Poltrona Frau, its hundred years of craftsmanship, design, quality and leather culture. The space is open to the public, deliberately designed to become a meeting place, a place of dialogue and reflection, and to host the people that visit the plant every year; designers, architects, students, journalists and customers from all over the world.
