Located in Abu Dhabi’s Rawdhat area, the new showroom will represent the third facility for German luxury carmaker Porsche in the country’s capital. Construction works began this week on the new 2.200 sqm Porsche showroom in Abu Dhabi, the total investment being estimated at US$ 36 million. This will be one of Porsche’s largest showrooms worldwide, spread over 2 floors with display space for 18 cars, lounges and underground parking. The project which is developed by the official distributor of Porsche in the U.A.E. Ali & Sons Motors Co, is scheduled for completion in summer 2015.
Porsche delivered a total of 1,056 vehicles last year in Abu Dhabi. First quarter results indicate another strong year for the brand with sales mainly driven by the Cayenne and Panamera models. Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi currently operates out of two showrooms, located in the city centre on Salaam Street and in Mussafah.
