Prada has embraced the public’s current love of logos, creating a new wallpaper which has taken over the brand’s flagship store in Soho, New York.
The store, which is the brand’s ode to architecture with its undulating lines and levels, features a 60 metre wall which has continually evolving wallpaper designs. The current logo print is part of the brand’s AW 18 collection, where many of the luxury houses recognise that the logo is king.
The graphics are graffiti style, with a 3D-effect. The Prada logo is featured on NY skyline buildings against a futuristic backdrop. The impressive centre of the store features mannequins in an amphitheatre style space showcasing the latest logo designs.
Prada effectively uses a simple wallpaper concept to continually transform the store’s design. Ii should also be noted that this is one of the most well-established and timer-serving brand flagships in the city.
