According to French media, the ongoing saga of the sale of Parisian luxury department store Printemps seems to be approaching a final stage. Qatar Holding is reported to be the sole bidder for the majority stake of Printemps through a financial vehicle Disa pour Divine Investments SA based in Luxembourg. Initially, it had been reported that the Borletti Group which has the a 30% stake would bid along the Qataris. It was also rumoured that direct competitor Galeries Lafayette is also interested to acquired Printemps. RREEF, an investment arm of Deutsche Bank is the owner of 70% of Printemps.
