Raffles Hotels & Resorts announces the signing of an agreement with Jiangsu Golden Land to develop a 150-room hotel in Suzhou – slated to open in 2020, it will be the fourth Raffles property in China.
A 100 kilometers northwest of Shanghai, the city benefits from a growing dynamism after attracting companies such as Canon, Logitech and Motorola. The hotel will offer conference facilities, five bars and restaurants, as well as a spa. The development will also include a selection of Raffles residences, with details to be announced closer to their official unveiling.
With the recent opening of the Raffles Jakarta, the brand operates seven property in the Asia-Pacific region. Suzhou will be the fourth Raffles address in China with hotels in Hainan and Beijing, and once the 200-room Raffles Shenzhen debuts in 2019.
