Greater than the previous boutique also on Sloane Street, the new Roberto Cavalli flagship store covers a surface area of 350 sqm and features women’s prêt-à-porter collections along with accessories, eyewear and watches, and will have an area dedicated entirely to menswear, similarly to its flagship in Paris.
The new London Cavalli flagship Store, which embodies the modern elegance of the Cavalli world and affirms the ‘fashion global store’ concept of the Maison in a spectacular mode, will host a cocktail event on September 17 2011 followed by a Gala dinner and party in the historic Battersea Power Station. Three new macro models of the Maison’s Diva ‘it bag’ have been created to mark the occasion in semi-glossy crocodile leather in black, pale green and beige.
For the first half of 2011, Roberto Cavalli reported stable financial results, with a consolidated turnover of 87,8 million euros, a 2,6% increase compared with the same period of 2010. The company’s net profit reached 2 million euros (+6,8%). Roberto Cavalli’s accummulated debt increased to 41,9 million euros (vs 40,9 million euros at the end of 2010).
