American jeweller Tiffany & Co is hosting November 8th a spectacular event in its flagship store in Milan (Italy) on Via Montenapoleone, dedicated to Platinum. The Tiffany event will feature a trunk fashion show with wedding gowns made using Platinum details, created by designer Mauro Adami. All the dresses will be subtly adorned by Tiffany platinum made jewels. On November 9, the same event will be replicated at the other Tiffany store in Milan at the Excelsior Department Store.
For Tiffany, a brand known mainly for its silver jewellery, the event marks an important strategic approach of the brand towards a more luxury positioning, thus maintaining the desirability of the brand. Earlier this year, Tiffany launched a collection made of Rubedo, a precious raw material developed by the company, which is based on gold.
